How are laminated bags produced?
Laminated bags are two-layer bags with an inner layer of polypropylene and an outer layer of polymer. The polymer is injected into polypropylene bags in a very thin molten state, creating laminated polypropylene bags.
Laminated bags can generally be produced in two ways:
Method 1: In this method, the laminate layers are pre-prepared. After the plain polypropylene bags are prepared, the laminate layers, which are prepared to strengthen the bags, are added to the plain polypropylene bags during the sewing stage. This plastic layer prevents moisture, sun, air and dust from penetrating into the bags.
Second method: This method is more reliable than the previous method. In fact, when the rolls of polypropylene bags are being prepared, the laminate material is poured in molten form onto the fabric of the bags. In this way, all the pores in the warp and weft of the fabric are closed. This method is considered the best method for producing laminated polypropylene bags.
Which of the bags can be impregnated with laminate material?
Although hemp fabrics can also be impregnated with laminate materials, the best type of laminated bags are plastic bags, because their main ingredients are polypropylene or polyethylene, which are perfectly compatible with polymeric materials. This compatibility allows the materials to combine better and, in addition to being impervious to moisture, they also gain greater strength and flexibility.
